Have you ever seen a ghost? Of course you haven't; if you saw a ghost it wouldn't be a ghost. Ghosts are formless and cannot be seen with mortal eyes. Anyway, those aren't the kind of ghosts I want to save your marriage from. The ghosts I want to save you from are the formless phantoms that may be haunting your marriage. The formless entities that threaten your marriage are very real indeed.
The most destructive phantom you can save your marriage from is Fear. Fear is the spirit of mistrust, doubt and uncertainty. It is a very potent and destructive ghost. You cannot see Fear but if you look at your thoughts and feelings objectively you will recognize his evil presence. Fear makes you see things that aren't there, hear things that were not spoken, be sure of things that never even existed. Fear will twist your mind into a pretzel and still not let go of you. Fear will even convince you that you cannot save your marriage and give you a million reasons why not.
But you can save your marriage from the fear-ghosts. The best way to do it is by turning on lights; ghosts hate the light. The lights that will save your marriage are the lights of truth and reality. The lights have names too. They are called love, acceptance and unruffled patience. When you turn on these lights with the switch of understanding you will see right through the ghosts of despair and exaggerated problems. You will be able to save your marriage because you won't be stumbling around in the darkness caused by the culprit ghosts.
4 Practical Things To Do
Put the love you have for your spouse ahead of your fears
Behave as you should; Do not allow your fears to drive you
Keep your spouse's flaws in perspective - neither of you are perfect
Tally the good things about your spouse, not the bad
Save your marriage because it is worth saving your family. Don't give up and don't despair; don't let the evil ghosts destroy you. You have the power to succeed quickly and simply. When you save your marriage you save your family - and you save your children. But it does not end there; you save countless future generations.
